Mission Statement

Mari's Children is a not-for-profit organization founded by Mari Linnman, the owner of The Art Farm, which operates a children's summer day camp in Bridgehampton, a year-round children’s center in New York City, and its latest outpost – a solar-powered and sustainable pre-school and animal farm in Sagaponack, NY - The Green School.

Mari's Children is an integral part of The Art Farm's philosophy of teaching our children well by example. The Art Farm curriculum includes programs and fundraising activities in which the children actively work and play to support Mari’s Children and its educational initiatives in the community and around the world.

A percentage of all of The Art Farm proceeds goes to Mari’s Children every year. So, by joining camp, preschool, taking classes, hosting a birthday party or purchasing a toy at The Art Farm, you help send a child to school. If you buy the children’s homemade baked goods or Art Farm garden tomatoes at the weekly Art Farmer’s Market, or come to the annual Art Farm Summer Carnival, you are helping to foster relief efforts and school programs for children in need.

It starts with the children, and through the generosity of The Art Farm families and community friends, Mari’s Children can continue to advocate and provide humanity through (and for) our children everywhere.
